Story:

Kayla here, a Singer/Songwriter from Florida. I just released my latest single, “Who You Call Me”, which marks my third original release. 'Who You Call Me' serves as a soulful ballad that resonates with listeners, highlighting their identity in Christ. The song serves as a poignant reminder that labels are superficial constructs imposed by life, society, or circumstances. Through its lyrical narrative, the listener is inspired to look beyond these labels and embrace their true identity as defined by Christ. It is my hope that this song instills a renewed sense of confidence in every believer, reaffirming their identity in Christ throughout all seasons of life.

The backstory for “Who You Call Me” is relatively simple. My parents have pastored for over thirty years. Growing up as a pastor's child, people always had an opinion or an idea of who I was or who I should be. Those opinions and the labels they placed on me stayed with me for so many years. Their opinions and labels affected my confidence and made me question every move I made. Until one day I realized…God has called me to be so much more than their narrative of me. I began to focus on everything that He calls me in His Word.

“Who You Call Me” serves as a poignant reminder that labels are superficial constructs imposed by life, society, or circumstances. Through its lyrical narrative, the listener is inspired to look beyond these labels and embrace their identity in Christ. A Simple Truth… God’s Opinion is the only opinion that truly matters.

You Stayed - Natalie Grace

Title: You Stayed Artist: Natalie Grace Genre: CCM Release date: March 15, 2024 Type of release: Single Source: Artist Story: There would be no resurrection if Jesus hadn’t finished the work on the cross. He could have called a legion of angels to rescue him but he was committed to the sacrifice that would bring us salvation. This song is an anthem celebrating His love and mercy! This song was actually inspired by my daughter. When she was real young, I read the story about Jesus dying on the cross from one of her storybook Bibles, It talked about how he could have rescued himself— he didn’t have to endure the suffering but he chose to stay bc he loved us and knew it was the only way for us to be saved, Her sweet little voice just kept asking me, “He stayed???” I thought it was so powerful since we spend a lot of time singing about how he didn’t stay in the grave. Yet there could be no resurrection without him staying and finishing the work on the cross. So it’s a reflection on hi

Deep: The Journey - Yemi Alafifuni

Title: Deep: The Journey Artist: Yemi Alafifuni Genre: CCM Release date: March 1st, 2024 Source:  Artist Story: Writing ‘Deep’ was a journey of thoughts, questions and ecstatic discovery of God’s love. About two years ago, I was in deep thoughts and had many questions for my Father. Asking these questions loudly or in company of believers could be construed as being ungrateful or doubtful. But they were questions about my call and I secretly demanded answers. Round about this time, I reluctantly attended our mid-week bible study session on a Wednesday and my pastor’s wife (Pastor Gloria) was teaching on Love. In this session, she taught on Ephesians 3:17-19 especially on vs 18 where she began to explain what the dimensions of God’s love looked like. My love language is love in its purest form so I was super attentive and captivated at the same time. It was as though it was my first time hearing about love, true and pure. This captivated my heart and suddenly I felt a flood of light
