We are the team that is also behind ChristianDance.eu. Our aim is to help extend the reach of Christian music releases.
What is the challenge that we are helping to resolve?
We receive lots of music from artists and found that many artists, managers, and promotion agent are making the same mistake...
People are spending lots of time and effort on creating press releases, while hardly anyone is reading them!
Journalists / writers hate reading press releases
Journalists / writers hate reading press releases, but they love it when they start seeing a good storyline.
While intended to be newsworthy announcements, many press releases and press kits fall flat, failing to capture attention or provide valuable information.
Some sources:

- Jan Vaanen: Stop With the Press Releases Already, No One Wants To Deal With Them
Journalists don't have the time to sift through all of the press releases they receive. None of the news media that we work with have the resources for this. The result: Press releases go straight to the bin, or even worse, they may even end up in the spam folder!
We help writers tell stories!
What Do Journalists and Writers Want?
They want stories! If they see a story (or the beginnings of a story), it only takes a few sentences to pitch it. Then, if the journalist / writer likes the idea, they can do what they do best, which is write it up. If they need more detail, then they will contact you. It’s that simple. You don’t need a 500-word “Yaada Yaada Blaah Blaah” press release.
Just pitching the title and a link to your release has no added value. Your competing against approximately 1000 Christian releases per week! It is the story that makes your release stand out!
Most press kits and documents that artists and managers share contain generic ‘blaah blaah’ about the artist's accomplishments, the artist's background, and production details. It doesn’t contain the beginnings of a story that could spark a journalist’s interest!
Our Approach
Our approach: We focus on providing content that will help people to tell a story about the new release.
Data from the source: The content is submitted by artists using a simple submission process.
The audience: journalists, copywriters, bloggers, program makers, DJ's, worship leaders, fans, etc.
By focussing on the content that makes stories, we help artists to reach their target audience and build stronger relationships with the media.
